Today I received a letter from my husband. Johnny wished me a happy birthday! He also told me that he was stabbed on his right arm by a member of the Vietcong. Thankfully his partner killed the enemy in time to save Johnny's life. I could not be any more grateful to know that he is safe and sound. Knowing that he is still alive is the best birthday present ever! I miss him each day that goes by. I cannot wait to return home with him.
